Like all the other comments he just spoke over me saying he was sending me one and I would need to send it back. I hung up.

Same as the other comments. Asked me how all my family were then proceeded to try and sell me a medical alert pendant as I allegedly have lots of health problems!! How do these people get my unlisted landline number? Be careful everyone.

This was a recording made to sound like a real call, but "Sam" did not respond to my question/reply. This is dangerous for vulnerable people who may believe it is genuine.

As it was local I answered. Hello can you hear me, yes, ...........quiet.... then this is a local health authority worker in your area.... I said why are you calling me please... pause..........then said thank you sorry to have troubled you and hung up! Clearly a scam now I have read these comments.

Claiming to be local health worker saying I was entitled to a medic alert pendant. Wouldn't answer where they got the number from. Couldn't tell me my name. Couldn't name my GP. told me I was over 70 with medical conditions - I'm not and I don't have any medical conditions. Please beware scam

I also spoke and it was ages before I got an answer. I said I didn’t have an alert button and didn’t want one. Told him my mother had died and he kept on and on talking over me. Voice very persistent. I had to hang up.

I also had a scam caller trying to sell me a medical alert system. He claimed to be a local health worker, but wouldn't take no for an answer. Harassing but only dangerous if you give him any details - I hope!
