Indian guy called to say he was calling from O2 new it was a scam put phone down ,,,

O2 Scam spoke to two Indian scammers who said they are sending me out a new SIM card in the post which would be delivered tomorrow. A text came through from O2 with a 6 digit code WARNING ME NOT TO SHARE THIS CODE WITH ANYONE, INCLUDING ANY O2 staff. That code would have given the scammers access to my account. I phoned O2 afterwards and they CONFIRMED it is a SCAM.

Pretended to represent Vodafone offering me a reduced monthly charge. I didn't accept the offer and checked the call at a local Vodafone shop, they had the phone number down as a scam. I blocked the number but the following day they rang again with a different number but same district code. I told the caller that they were scammers which she denied and kept insisting they were part of Vodafone company. I see that someone else had a similar call but saying they were from EE.
