Caller on 13 Nov said my TV maintenance contract had been going for a year and now needed renewal; but we definitely have no such contract. Caller said we had, and even quoted a monthly charge of over £10. When challenged to tell me my name he said he would go and check - then came back and correctly gave my wife's name. I suspect that this was stolen data. I told him I had to stop for an appointment, and that was that. Phoning back to his displayed number said the number was not in service. Rather suspicious.

I was woken by my telehone at exactly 8am this morning. I heard it switch to answerphone mode, but the caller ended their call. I got the 'last caller' number, & did a search that led me here. I've just made a '141' call to the number to be told that it is not currently in use...... Thank you to everyone who took the trouble to file a report here !

Nuisance

They convinced my 90 year old mother they were genuine and she gave her bank details. All sorted now but don't ever give these 'people' any info. Hang up and call your bank if necessary.

Guy on the other end mumbled real low then just clicked off when i tried to chat back dialed em later and the message said the lines outta commission total bogus setup no doubt.
