Caller on 13 Nov said my TV maintenance contract had been going for a year and now needed renewal; but we definitely have no such contract. Caller said we had, and even quoted a monthly charge of over £10. When challenged to tell me my name he said he would go and check - then came back and correctly gave my wife's name. I suspect that this was stolen data. I told him I had to stop for an appointment, and that was that. Phoning back to his displayed number said the number was not in service. Rather suspicious.

I was woken by my telehone at exactly 8am this morning. I heard it switch to answerphone mode, but the caller ended their call. I got the 'last caller' number, & did a search that led me here. I've just made a '141' call to the number to be told that it is not currently in use...... Thank you to everyone who took the trouble to file a report here !

They convinced my 90 year old mother they were genuine and she gave her bank details. All sorted now but don't ever give these 'people' any info. Hang up and call your bank if necessary.

Foreign man called himself Tony from Sky i dont even have Sky hung up on him

Auto connect then fella with accent pushin tv service update asked bout my screen age and when i questioned it he vanished quick feels off.

Just a scam call they soon put the phone down when they realise I am savvy

Fellow on the line said he worked for the tv fix crew but it was clear as day he aint so i cut the chat short and moved on.

Fraudster named kevin reached out about supposed place issues then quizzed if i owned it once i said yeah he bailed quick weird tactic to confirm targets for bigger plays.

Guy on the other end mumbled real low then just clicked off when i tried to chat back dialed em later and the message said the lines outta commission total bogus setup no doubt.
