Claimed to be EDF Energy, fishing for info, scam.

Asian dude claiming to be from EDF energy. Told him several times if he was from our energy company he would have the correct details to contact and not the presrciption ordering number. Long silence then hung up. Didn't stop them calling back 3 more times on the same day.

Asian call centre, said they were Scottish Power, wanted to check MPAN number. I called Scottish Power and they said that they wouldn't make a call like this. He phoned back for the fourth time and asked why I had hung up on him, I told him that it was because I Googled his phone number and he is a scammer - he hung up and didn't call back!!

Fake diesel emissions rebate call. Tried to get me to press numbers to confirm details.

Asian guy said he was from Pozitive Energy and wanted details from my bill. Told him that I wouldn't give him any details but he kept persisting, he was extremely pushy so I told him I was hanging up.....he didn't call back!!!

Claims to from our energy supplier, very rude, very persistent. I asked for their company registration number, he wouldn't give it. Just seems to want the contract end date as he already seems to have some information. Scam!

Asian call centre. Said was Eon. Told me there were billing errors and needed my supply number to update records. I said you're a scammer. Managed to keep him busy over 10mins to delay him ringing anyone else. He tried to say they'd cut us off because I was rude. I kept repeating you're a scammer, you're lying, Eon wouldn't call out the blue. Tried to say if I didn't co-operate then we'd be responsible for any billing errors. Told him if I have any errors I'll contact Eon! Think when I started laughing he gave up.
