Lady called claimed to be from British Gas metering department wanting to send an engineer out to read meter. We're not with BG...and never have been! When I explained this she was then wanting to know who we were with now. As I didn't give her the information she wanted she passed me to her supervisor who repeated more than once that the call was being recorded. I informed her if there was an issue with our meter readings then I will contact our provider and speak with them.

Claiming to be from EDF but clearly not. Wants to send an engineer out to check my meter as its coming up as invalid!!
