Received call yesterday regarding a solar heating survey. Although it took me a while to realise it all the questions were prerecorded with a pause for my reply. Sometimes the pause time was too long. I asked who the company was, I can’t remember the name of the company but it was in south west London. Eventually I it didn’t sound right and put the phone down. This could be a voice identity scam.

Phoned me at 14.15 this afternoon and the gentleman said he was calling regarding our Sky Protection Renewal and that it needs to be paid now or else we are not protected. (it s done on an automatic renewal in December). I told him that my husband deals with that and he wasn't in. With that he said something I couldn't understand and put the phone down. Less than 5 minuted later another person from the same number phoned and said they were ringing on behalf of a loft insulation company and this time I terminated the call. Funny that Sky and a loft insulation company share the same phone. Please beware

01204806226 and 01204806228 calling me nonstop about an alleged loan I applied for…indian accent, not being racist it was an Indian sounding accent, and his name was apparently Patrick…I’m Irish…his name is not Patrick. They have continued to call despite me hanging up and telling them angrily to leave me alone.

Said they were from an energy team offering loft insulation under a government backed scheme. I do not trust it at all. No proper company details given and very pushy tone. Clearly a scam attempt.
