It's a scam they ring you and ask if you are the home owner. Have blocked them many times. They just ring again using a different number.

Multiple silent calls from same caller ID. Hangs up as soon as answerphone cuts in. I would expect a genuine caller to eventually get fed up with my answerphone and leave a message. I suspect that a scammers auto-dialler may be faulty.
