E-on pestering us to have a smart meter. Myself and wife both work all week and they don't fit them on a Sat!! So guess what,? I'm not having one then!!

Informed Eon countless times by letter and telephone that I do NOT want a smart meter as we don't have the infrastructure to support it. They are still sending me letters .....

I've had phone calls, emails and letters from Eon with the same message: fit a smart meter. Eon have to meet a government target of fitting these but they are not fault-free. My existing meter is fine and easy to read, so I reject Eon's pressure to change. The real benefit of a smart meter is to Eon, who can ration electricity by cutting your supply if the national grid is overloaded or cut people off without entering their house if the bill isn't paid.

Frequently call but don't leave a voicemail. Blocked number so it goes straight to voicemail but they leave a silent message then hang up. From what I understand this is on behalf of Eon wanting to install a smart meter BUT I have told them for the last 5 years as their app doesn't work on my phone I don't want one. Moving out soon, so this should stop completely

Caller wanted to make arrangements for Eon smart meter to be fitted. Very persistent. Wanted personal details to remove me from call list which I did not supply. He spoke authoratively from as if he were from EOn.

calls received daily - never leave a message - highlighted via landline phone display as "nuisance" Having read the other coments, in addition to texts & emails, this is highly likely to be EON's latest attempt to coerce us into fitting a Smart Meter

Received many calls from them re smart meters. I tell them no and to take our number off their list. Their reply is that I have to answer security questions for them to be able to do that!! I’m not going to answer questions when it was them who called me !!

The one voicemail left was just clicks and machinery noise. Different variations of this number keep calling I don’t answer them. I am bombarded with txt to change to one of their smart meters too. I don’t friggin want one. Jheeeez it just doesn’t stop.

E-on next, after I missed their call I've got a text message from E-on telling me that I have missed their call. The call was about replacing the smart meter. So no scam.

EON again. I've twice told them verbally the property is up for sale so I'm not interested in a smart meter. The calls, texts and emails continued. I emailed them and told them to stop because a sale is going through. The replied with an apology and said they could not stop because it's all automated. i don't answer anymore.

It was Eon arranging a Smart Meter appointment as I'd requested. In fact, the number being tagged as "Suspected Spam" was very unhelpful.

Answered the call, and it was someone purporting to be from Eon, sterted to talk about a smart meter. I cut them off and told them how they'd sent two engineers and they couldn't fit it. By the time I'd finished they'd hung up!

A number of calls from this number. My phone screens incoming, unknown numbers and they've never bothered to leave a message. Now blocked. I am with Eon but if they don't leave a message, they'll never get a response!

Having calls from this number daily. I am with Eon but the deal i have does not include having a smart meter. I have moved it to spam but can see that they are relentless. I will be reporting them to the appropriate regulatory body. Martin Lewis will want to hear about this also. Had enough now.
