Just phoned me saying my three SIM card had been changed, I stupidly believed it then asked a further question about my phone bill, he then started asking what I was doing and if I speak Urdu???! and what other languages I speak then just kept asking what I was doing. Weirdo. Stay clear.

Only chose dangerous because deceitful was under it. Claiming to be from BT but obviously wasn't. When I requested they removed my details, she hung up on me.

Just had a call from this number also claiming that my broadband had changed from private to public. Definitely a scam phone call. I just hung up.

Called to say were from Open Reach and that our BBand had gone from private to public. I said I was aware of this. She said she was going to disconnect us - I said work away and she hung up.

Indian call centre, called claiming to be from BT and needing to check if our broadband is private or protected. She directed me to Google IP Geo Loction and look for a map; VPN results pop up showing unprotected. She asked if I had time to deal with it, said it would take 20 minutes... I wanted to get on my virtual machines for the inevitable TeamView/AnyDesk connection so I asked her to call back. Waiting...

Called and said he was from BT and there was a problem with my broadband, that it had gone from being private to public. I replied with this is a scam call and he insisted it wasn’t a scam, I knew it was as I am not an BT customer. He kept insisting he was from BT, and as soon as I said that the call was being recorded he hung up.

Called said she was from BT open reach, was calling because my broadband had gone from private to public. I asked for her full name, contact number and address. She asked what would I do with that information I said, check it out since I believe BT do not monitor or make calls about such things: she immediately hung up.
