Received international call on 11-11-25 pretending to be BT [ female caller kept getting advice from someone else in noisy background ] saying private line hd gone public. I said we had been in contact with BT and she cancelled call.

Pretending to be from PayPal, telling me because of unusual activity, my account was suspended for a day. I hung up.

00306908421924 has rang twice in the last 2 hoours claiming to be from BT and asking for the account holder. I did not engage in any conversation as you can hear a lot of noise in the back. I hung up on both occassions and dialled 1471 to get the number, which is clearly an overseas call and nothing to do with BT.

Call centre background noises, man claiming to be calling from BT. Smelt a scam so questioned caller and was subjected to a tirade of abuse. String of calls all the same. Very unpleasant.

Caller sounded Asian, insisting that my computer was being hacked into and I must let them deal wth it. When I maintained that my computer was fine, he became aggressive and persistent. I put the phone down and he rang back demanding to know why I had put it down. I had to leave it off the hook.

This number has rung multiple times over the last 2 or 3 days. On the first occasion, I picked the phone up, but said nothing. He was saying, "I know you are there, I know you can hear me." When I made no attempt to speak, he started to be aggressive towards me. For info to anyone reading this. On the first day our phone flashed the number up as an international call. It eventually cut off. Almost immediately, it rang again as an international call. Once again, it rang off when we didn't answer. The 3rd time, the phone rang again, but this time it just came up as an ordinary mobile call. Once again the person was very nasty. I fear for the safety and wellbeing of any vulnerable person getting a call from these disgusting people.

Phoned at 0800. ‘John’ presumably phoning from Greece. Very poor English claiming to be ringing on behalf of BT. Rang off when I didn’t engage.

Wife picked up and the line was silent on the other side, so she hung up. Likely a robocaller of some sort. Our caller display came up with "00306908421924". These calls are just annoying.

Total con actin like the web service crew warnin bout access issues but its just a ploy to hook into online setups and swipe data under the radar.

Called twice this morning claiming my computer has been compromised by hackers lady called this morning and was followed up by Peter (indian accent) who claimed he was the manager and I should take them seriously. This afternoon another member of staff called on 0780 2253516 letting me know that two members of staff had tried to help me. They are very convincing and asked me to log in using CMD which I did not. Please be careful and don't give out any information.

Bunch claimed to handle the software giant and warned of break ins on the machine they dropped my tag and even the key id like they had inside scoop but who knows if real or just a lucky guess anyway didnt bite.

Fakers rang up claimin to rep the internet service and spooked my older relative sayin the connection was open to all and needed an ip tweak for safety but its pure con tryin to worm into the router or snag login creds under the fix it guise these tech support rip offs prey on worry about security to gain remote access and plant malware or steal data so always shut down and contact the real provider direct through their app or site to check any alerts without lettin strangers near the setup keeps the home network locked tight and the scammers out in the cold where they belong.
