Fraudulently claiming that my O2 mobile number had been requested to port to Vodafone this morning. I don't have an O2 number, but I used to.... I called...A woman with a British accent answered. Our conversation made clear to me that she was working for the fraudsters. BEWARE this number!

Sent a message suggesting it was from 02 saying my number was requested to be transferred to Vodaphone. Gave the 0800 number and 01224049102 as an alternative.

Claimed to be from Halifax bank telling me about a fraudulent transaction on my credit card. Texted me a six digit code to reply back to them. On checking with Halifax bank this call was fraudulent and the six digit code was what they needed to make the transaction. Luckily, the Halifax did not approve of the transaction. Considering it was for over £2000 to buy currency from Marks & Spencer‘s I am pleased the transaction was stopped.
