asked if I was the home owner twice I said no then they hung up

Scam. Asked if I’m the home owner of the property I asked what is the property address then, which property are you querying and she said “well the property that you live in” I said I will report you for trying to scam people and she said I was gonna just check… and then hung up

Even if you tell them you're not interested, they just keep pushing. Had to hang up.

If you have nothing better to do (as I didn't when the "lady" called me) then you could have a bit of fun while performing an act of random kindness. Keep her chatting, waste her time, then she won't be bothering some other poor s*d. Take care when "scam baiting" that you don't give out even a smidgen of information, personal or otherwise.

Same experience as others. Lady claimed to be an energy advisor but had no specific company details.

Good old Gabbie again asking if you are the homeowner and then off she goes on the home energy scam routine. So I suggest you ask her specifically what company she works for, or maybe say you are renting the property. However for best effect tell her to roll her script up very tightly and park it somewhere appropriate.

Not entirely sure has I missed the call but when I tried to call back it came up saying the number does not exist

Same as others, “I’m the local energy advisor” asking about loft insulation. As soon as I asked the purpose of the call and said I’m in the construction industry and know the current building regulations she hung up. Obvious scam.

As previous comments … Slight pause on answering, then “Gabby” called introduced herself as a local energy advisor. “I’m very busy” I replied, she hung up immediately.
