A load of nonsense about hmrc fraud and to give details. Not a chance.

Called @ 10:12 to tell me that she was from Microsoft and they had identified a problem with my computer, when I asked what my IP address was she said it wasn't needed, so when I asked how did she know I had a problem she got a little irate, I called her a naughty person eventually escalating to nasty person as she started shouting. I called her a scammer and she said she would cut my internet off and hung up

Automated voice, not a real person: This call was from the Bank Fraud Department, so they said. (11:31 on 7 March 2024). There have been several transactions on my card, for £xxx and £xxxx. The voice said I had never made transactions like this before, so to press 1 or...I hung up and blocked the number.

Recorded female voice message launched without them checking who answered. "This is the bank security department." Oh Yeah. Which bank? And I'm the king of Spain if this is a genuine call.

Same as previous reports, claiming to be an unnamed card company wanting suspicious transactions confirmed or rejected. Anyone know how it works, and what happens if you press 1 or 2 as requested?

Caller (female - good English) told Answering Machine that I had a £100 deficit on my card. Didn’t mention which card! Presumed a Scam so erased message!

Almost incomprehensible call from call centre claiming to be Amazon. Seemed to be trying to tell me about a £99 transaction and asking me to confirm whether I wanted to cancel it or not. Thanked them, told them that I would check my account, hung up and blocked number.

Told me they were from my bank, and asked for information to verify it was really me. Hung up, obviously a scam.
