South Asian accent woman ...v early morning call . Hello this is .[undecipherable] ...Is this [my correct name] ? Just called to say we are removing you from the database. Ended call. Am blocking number as suggested by another recipient, as feels like fraudsters checking their list, but they won't use that number to call again I expect but have a name / number pair to be either sold on or used in a scam themselves.

Received a call at 08:20 this morning 20//12/2023. He asked is this NAME. I said yes it is and then he advised me my number was being removed from from a database. Really wish I hadn't answered now! Blocked the number.

They are making sure your name and number match and then they just add you to more databases. 100% scam. May also be recording your voice using Ai to urgent replicate you. (I believe they only need to hear one word from you to do this now. Don’t answer!
