Like others who reported this number, I also had a similar situation. The woman said her name was Amber Dawson, she told me I had 4 allegations on my name linked to tax evasion and false, that action would be taken against me and that I could resolve it outside of court or in court. She also first directed me to the Court of Appeal website to show this number was genuine. If only I had googled it, that would have saved me a lot of money. Unfortunately, I did pay. She switched the call a few times to other numbers and also sent me a Whatsapp message. At some point I also got connected to her partner-in-crime who identified himself as Ajay Vajrala. I simply wonder how it is possible that they would call from an official Court number and why that number is not getting blocked.

Had a call claiming to be from Sky offering a better package deal. Asked for my email address and made up a fake one on the spot. Spent 10 mins on the phone meaning less chance of scamming someone else.

Caller from Indian call centre claiming to be from O2. Told him I’m not with them and he insisted I was. Asked him for my name and he got it wrong. I hung up and he called from an other number started to get rude so I ended call and blocked number he called back on two further numbers before getting the message. Even when I told him he was a scammer he tried to claim he wasn’t and convince me he was legitimate. Be careful of these callers

This is the outgoing line (hence doesn't accept incoming calls) for NewsTeam, who deliver newspapers etc. across the UK; they are aware that it is being flagged as spam and are trying to sort it out. Called me as an ex-customer to offer a new deal if I wanted it and were fine when I said no. If you're getting nuisance calls from their number, their office number is online via Google.

A Indian male said he was from Sky and would save money on my bill! He didn’t ask for named account holder , password, they (obviously) don’t know my monthly costs or email which they tried to get me to say. I asked them to tell me what email address they have for me and I’d verify they were real if they knew correct answer, he hung up on me 😝
