Had a call regarding marriage tax from a firm claiming to be Dax alliance. Well spoken gentleman started telling me about marriage allowance. Just said forget it and hung up.

It was an Asian woman who knew my personal details - date of birth for myself and my husband - address - date of marriage - asked if I was a non-tax payer (I am not). Told me they would send a cheque to my home address for marriage allowance. Since I began my working life with HMRC I did not disclose anything since I know that if HMRC owe you money they send it to you without any third party interference. Scammers are just a dangerous pain in the neck!

Just had a call regarding marriage tax allowance. . Asked them to put it in writing as not willing to give details over phone . Was told it would take much longer this way but when I said no they just Thankyou and hang up . . This is a scam!!

I was called on 26/06/2025 at 18 45 The caller sounded asian they asked for my husband when I asked who was calling The male mumbled something about marriage tax rebates for the last two years when I informed him my husband was dead he hummed hummed and I hung up.
