Received a txt message from this number asking me to confirm a transaction on my Tesco Credit card, answer yes or no, I answered No and then was asked to ring 03301336012. I called and they wanted me to log onto my app and confirm some details. Asked no real security questions at all. I told them i would not go on my app while they were on the phone, he got shifty and asked why as if i was doing something wrong. He called me back but again was insistent i needed to confirm how much money i had left on my card to confirm I was the card holder. I placed on hold and he hung up and never called back. I called Tesco from the number on the back of my card which was a different number and as i suspected this was a scam call and not Tesco. So glad I've watched enough programs about online fraud and I did not go on my app at the same time as the call.

This number claims to be Tesco Bank informing you of an attempted transaction on your account. Was this you etc. If you answer NO you get another text asking you to call 0330 133 6012 asap. This number puts you through to the scammers. Beware.
