Frequent calls hangs up when answered call back says asda

It was ASDA customer service informing me of a refund for them double charging my delivery pass - didn't ask for any details over the phone just to confirm my email for the refund. (I had already been in touch with them for a refund too so this wasn't out of the blue).

Seems harmless to me. Called regarding my ASDA delivery pass which I had been double charged on, apologized and issued a refund without any banking details and asked for feedback on my experience with ASDA. I personally , appreciate the call.

Today i had a phone call from this number told me i owed them money for a shopping bill online and i knew that was wrong as they would not have delivered the order and i have shopped with them for years. I reply to them that they were trying to scam me which they reply it was not so i hung up and blocked there number

I haven't answered after reading all the comments about the number, but they've been ringing multiple times a day for a week now. Very harrassing. I used to work for Asda, and they would never call asking about feedback or giving updates to people. Please be careful and just hang up!

Called claiming to be gathering feedback for the Asda online store which I did coincidentally use recently. Hung up after a few seconds when I realised it seemed weird. Hope they haven’t captured my voice and use it to pass as me…

Claimed to be from Asda when I questioned that because he was giving wrong information he put the phone down on me. Definitely a scam.

Person with a South African accent called and asked me if I have any problems with asda app or online shopping as they recently had an upgrade. Asked me if I'm happy with shopping in Asda. Or if the recent upgrades affected me. I replied no. I suspect they're harvesting our voices via ai to log into voice sensitive telephone banking. Probably best to hang up when they day Asda!

said calling on behalf of ASDA - from Africa - Ms Kala, she said. on the phone with them for the last 20 min. unwilling to tell me what information they have about me, nor any info on the company who is allegedly doing this round of calls. Asked not to be called again and will report this to ASDA.

Claiming to be Asda, asked if I’ve shopped there recently. When I said no, I shop at Morrisons as I live next to it, the lady asked me why I don’t don’t at Asda. Strange call

Claiming to be asda giving me the dates I last shopped with them and trying to convince me to shop with them again, very odd tactic if it really was on behalf of Asda. Rambling alot about roll back prices, better service, if any issues with deliveries you can ring them. Don't currently shop with Asda and this doesn't convince me to restart, If anything the opposite to avoid if they're going to pester old customers to shop with them again.

Someone claiming to be ASDA for feedback and asking if I’ve shopped with them recently. The call cut off so I called the number back and there’s an automated service saying “welcome to Asda please hold the line”.
