Funny how HSBC and Coop bank are using the same phone number these days. Sent me a text saying transaction on card, if I did not make to call this number. Genuine ones usually come immediately and say did you make this purchase, text yes back - this one wants you to call a number. Looked on my account and the available balance reflects is only down by my legit purchases. Could catch a busy person out though so be careful!

Received a text claiming to be from Coop bank about a transaction I didn't recognize. Looked shady so I ignored it. Definitely a scam.

HSBC texted me a so-called suspicious transaction notification asking me to call this number. Seemed fishy so I checked my account and all was fine. Avoid at all costs.
