Called, hard to understand, claimed to be checking on damp and housing issues. Very suspicious.

Some guy pretending to be council, asking about damp and mould issues. Everyone laughed at his story.

Called about housing issues. Informed I never reported any issues. Then hung

Call appeared to be from an auto dialler as there was a delay before anyone spoke. Stated they were calling about housing issues I’d reported. I explained I’d made no report and asked where they got my number from. He responded with can you tell me about the cracks and damp in your home, I repeated that I had no issues and he hung up.

Repeated caller so answered. Ask for credit card details but stated the damp work would be free as per council instructions! Worrying as my house has damp and I'm waiting for it to be sorted.

Called through saying they were from a housing repair company and that they were contacting me regarding the report i made to them, I informed them i didnt make any report for repairs and they hung up

Missed call from this number and no voicemail left. Looking at other reports it appears to be linked to housing related matters, though I do not know why they would be calling me.

The caller somehow knew my name and started talking about housing issues. The line quality was very poor and it was hard to understand what they wanted.

They were talking about housing repairs involving damp and mould and asked me to send photos over messaging apps. They did not seem to have any real details about me or my property and kept pushing the conversation forward which made it feel unsafe and intrusive.

Caller claimed to be a local housing officer. When I stopped responding, he quickly ended the call which felt suspicious.
