Indian guy asked if I had damage to my house. I said no, and he hung up. Pretty sure it's a phishing scam taking advantage of recent storm damage.

Called my partners phone with automated message stating they were from the disrepair team I called it back got an Indian guy pick up could hear alot of other calls going on in back ground so hung up and reported the number also blocked

Called 10:48 on Friday 26 January 2026. Phone warned me of this being potential fraud (although I missed the call at the time). Internet search for the number does not find any result to a reputable business.

Indian sounding fella asking if I’ve got any damage to my house, said I hadn’t and he just said bye and hung up. I suspect a potential phishing scam due to the recent storms given that it’s just cold calling.

I missed the call and so called back. An automated voice said "Thank you for contacting housing disrepair team" and asked what my issue was. I haven't contacted anyone or any organisation about housing repairs!
