Indian accent. He knew my name. When I asked where did he get my number from? He replied from council. Than continue we get almost all numbers from council. He offered mold housing improvement. Clearly scam. My question is why council gives out private numbers? Its that much corrupted? I've registered my number under GOV. Just to avoid this s**t. And they keep calling

Long one: This call came from someone with an Indian accent claiming they were offering some kind of housing improvement deal. When I told them straight I thought it was a scam, they immediately cut me off mid-sentence which pretty much confirmed my suspicion. They didn’t want to answer my questions and were clearly just trying to get me to say yes to something without giving me any actual details about the supposed service.
