We need to fight back against these constant tries to steal from people by making sure every single incident gets reported to the proper authorities like the police and Ofcom who have special channels just for handling these kinds of fraudulent activities. Its the only way to make a difference and reduce the number of victims.

As with all other comments, couldn't me what housing association they were calling on behalf of didn't know the adress of property or my name. Jokers! Have blocked the number.

Missed call so I phoned back, hard to understand but said there was a problem with a water leak which is not true at all, and this was before they asked what my name or address was. Avoid.

I just had a call from them now, ironically, after I had just hung up from speaking with my housing association repairs team, as my boiler is acting up. Knowing from past interactions with our repairs team and any contractors, they will always ask for me by name or if I am the tenant of 1 Joe Bloggs Street. When the person said hi, how are you, we are calling about the recent interaction with your housing officer. I know it was a scam. Be careful, everyone

Like other users, someone allegedly contacting me about a report of issues with my housing association property. Not too clever as we own our house outright. I never say my name when the number isn’t in my phone. I just hang up when the scam spiel starts.
