They called on my landline so i can't even block it. However, iv gotten into the habit of answering and hanging up straight away. If its important they can ring back.

Received a call from someone claiming to be an energy advisor. The call started off by asking if I was the homeowner, which already raised some red flags. The caller then launched into a long and rehearsed-sounding explanation about government grants, energy efficiency, and loft insulation. They went on about how many homes are not properly insulated and how this can lead to heat loss and higher energy bills. I listened for a bit, but it became clear they were reading from a script. They kept stressing the urgency of having my loft checked and offered to send someone around “free of charge” to inspect it. I declined and asked for details in writing, which they couldn’t provide. It all felt pushy and suspicious, especially since I never requested any energy advice in the first place. I wouldn’t trust it, likely a scam or at best a very aggressive sales tactic.
