Pretending that were from a Debt Management company. When I started to ask some "security" questions (old trick from a former contact centre agent...), they hung up.

Called to tell me that my SIM card would expire in 5 days. Said he was from EE and that he would upgrade me to a new 5G SIM card. When I said I already had 5G he said it was my choice and hung up.

I've been called saying that they are form O2 and my line will be cancelled on Monday if i don't renew with them. They new my name, they force you to do it with them because in the shop it will cost me £53.

Desperately trying to convince me he was from 02 that my sim would expire I even told him exactly what the scam was he was trying to pull on me but he was so pushy please keep safe out here people

Wouldn’t stop phoning me. Said my telephone number was going to expire with Tesco as SIM card invalid. I left Tesco 2 years ago for this number but still have 2 mobiles with Tesco. She asked me to confirm the numbers and I said you should know all this and I said I felt uncomfortable and hung up. She then called back 6 times until I blocked the number.

Purported to be from Tesco mobile and that my sim would expire in three days! Amazing cos I’m not with Tesco!

Calling asking for details claiming to be Tesco, asked for address and if I was home tomorrow. Block.

Claimed that they were O2 and that my sim was being voided and a new one needed to be delivered. When they asked for my email address I asked why they couldn’t tell me and they just kept being persistent so I told them that If it’s being voided I can use another provider and hung up

Indian scam call centre claiming to be from Tesco mobile asking for name address and banking info ended the call when I suggested they verify my name to me
