This man knew my name, also that i was social housing and for which Council. I had survey for damp 2 weeks ago and he seemed to know. Only when he kept asking about damages did I realise he wasnt from local Council - apart from the fact that his English language was atrocious!
How do these scammers find out our details???

Cold call, addressed me by a name that wasn't mine, claimed to be 'reaching out' following an announcement by the FCA (I then hung up)
