Called me, woman's voice, telling me that they were the insurers for my kitchen equipment. I asked "since when" to which she lied for the past two years. I said, " You lie." She rang off. Very dodgy scam.

Very abrupt, demanding money for white goods policy , demanded cancellation fee, she told me she was not going to argue , threatened to send in post and she hung up , dont tell them anything , and she shows her true colours ,

Lady called to tell me I had a five year warranty on my washing machine and I had paid two years and good news my future repayments are to be reduced. I didn’t have a policy so when I questioned her for more information she became quite aggressive and threatened me with a cancellation fee. Knew it was a scam because she referred to me by my first married name (useful ploy at times)

Called home phone purporting to be Adam who covers appliences for this household. As I don't have cover on any of my appliances (scam in itself) I just said ' no you don't' and caller immediately rang off. Blocked number. Scam.

This woman phoned this morning telling me we had bought insurance when we purchased our washing machine. When I asked who she was she got aggressive and told me to stop shouting. I put the phone down. Quite unnerving to get this out of the blue.

Tried to convince me I had a five year warranty for a washing machine - which I don’t. When I tried to correct her she abruptly told me to ‘stop shouting at her’ and became forceful. I tried to tell her that had the incorrect details but she then hung up suddenly. The voice had an Estuary English accent and sounded quite determined yet professional. I could understand how an elderly person would be intimidated by such an approach. This call left a sour taste in my mouth hence my decision to report it as Harassment.
