I knew it was a spam call as it came up on my phone. But I played along for a few minutes then told them not to call me again and put the phone down. They told me that my name came up on a car list to get money back I knew that was wrong as I haven't taken out car finance since the late 1990s. Please do not give out any information to this number

Missed call from this number. Called them back. They claimed they were from priority mobile saying mobile contract was due for renewal (it was not) and was about to ask me to renew/sign up with them. Had a feeling it was a scam and person had a thick Indian accent with a terrible call quality/could barely make out what he was saying. He claimed he was calling from Canada Water, Lower Road London, SE16 2XB. He said his name was Hemane and the company name was called Smart Mobile. He terminated call when I told him I was registered with the TPS and he should not have cold called me. I called Canada Water (City business centre) to find out if they have such a business running out of one of their hired office spaces. I was informed no such business or name was known to them.
