Just called claiming to be a survey from company called varian and sent us a letter. I told them seen not letter and they also been scamming regarding hmrc. She stated not at all that's why we sent letters out and we do occasionally hmrc survey too but our number will come up as scam lol. Bye hung up on her and blocked

Got a call form this number 6.30 pm 26th November 2025. Not in my directory so did not answer and checked here. Phone recorded it as "Suspeted Spam". Do as I do and don't answer. If a genuine call, they will leave a message.

Definitely a scam, trying to get personal information. HMRC wouldn’t employ an outside company to obtain personal data.

Claims to be calling about a business survey, called 5 times yesterday and have tried blocking/blacklisting the number but they still seem to be able to get through. Clearly a scammer don't answer.

Sounded like a fake HMRC call. I said that I'd call back with a number off the website. I received at lease 3 calls from this number before I answered - and I answered thinking that that would stop them trying to call.

They say there a survey to do with personal independent payment, they keep ringing, I have now blocked the number, to many scams going on
