Received call despite my number being hidden. Must use a phone number generator for unsolicited calls

Absolute pests. Thought the telephone preference service was stopping these.

The polite caller (Home counties accent female 50s) offered me free Solar Panel Quote after visit to my abode TBA. Asked whether I was owner, to which I agreed. Said she found my number on a „database“ of people „who had not received their free Quote“. As if there was such a database. I said I was not momentarily interested, but could she leave me her Business Name and number (for future use). Then she hung up quickly apologising and wishing me a good rest of the afternoon (called at 16:28h).

Purporting to be on behalf of green energy in response to a questionnaire I recently completed. Have had a few of these calls, despite never having completed a questionnaire re saving energy.
