Definitely a scam number pretending to be O2. When I pointed out at no point had she requested DPA or provided any warning of recorded calls etc, she raised her voice and hung up so. Block this if you get the chance.

Spoke with O2 and this is a fraudulent number

Said I needed to upgrade my sim amd then asked for a code sent from O2 which states should not be shared with anyone including O2, when I refused she became aggressive and threatening

Woman told me she was O2, I was going to have cheaper but better tarif and was going to be sent new SIM card. Also needed to do in next 2 days. Then that she would send a text and I would need to allow here into my phone. That's when I knew. A scam. They take 'control' of your phone remotely and copy all your data. Rip you off.

Says calling from O2 to say my sim is going to stop working as they are upgrading the systems in the back ground. Have looked on O2 and there is nothing on there to say that is what they are doing. They have rang several times on mobile and landline.

I'm not sure if it was a scam marketing call, the woman kept waiting for me to say yes, which made me suspicious.
