Said they were calling about warranty on kitchen appliance.

Claimed I had appliance insurance and offered 50% off renewal. Asked for postcode, seemed scammy.

I answered the call (on landline). Asian male, talking as if he was my friend. He told me his name, can't remember what it was. He hung up when I asked what he wanted. Sounded like some form of telemarketing or scam call. it is the 2nd unsolicited call in 2 days on a landline after months without any. Registration with TPS obviously no good any more. I registered years ago - when I checked yesterday there was no confirmation of registration so I re-registered with them & blocked the number.
