It’s a fake number - don’t call back

Cold call - didn't say which company they were from just read a script about 02/Virgin media taking over Smarty and they would send a replacement phone card with the same number and that I should use it in my phone, As far as I'm concerned Smarty is owned by Three/Hutchinson group. When I asked for number and contested information the call got dropped after being prompted for a number. The source of the call is from Amesbury and if you ring back the number it comes up with a degraded voice message announcing they are the Energy Department.

Another energy adviser who didn’t listen to anything. They just kept reading from a script. Didn’t feel genuine at all.
