My iphone pinged suspected spam so i let it ring.

I had a missed call from this number. I rang back and there was a message "Welcome to energy department. Please press 1 to speak to an advisor" For sure it's a scammer.

Called claiming to be 3 network and they are upgrading all the sim cards. Sent an email which was not received. Then proceeded to send me a code. I hang up at that point.

Asked me who my phone provider was, asked me my postcode, then asked for my door number. When I asked why she needed that, she said "Are you going mad?" and then said "Please sir, don't waste my time."
She called me, so that seems a contradiction in terms. Total scam, and a laughably bad one too.

Claimed they were from O2. I said I'm not with O2 so how did you get my number. They started asking who I was with so I told them to remove my details and not call me again as it was a sales call. She was rude and disconnected me.

Caller claimed I needed a free replacement SIM for my safety. When questioned, they couldn’t explain what the supposed risk was. They pushed hard to get me to read out something from my phone. No real network behaves like that. It felt like they were trying to gain access to my account.
