Had a call from this number claiming to be from Vodafone, as others have said, scam!

Phoned me saying he was from Vodafone. Said my sim cards would be deactivated within 24-48 hours, I had requested for my number to go to a new sim earlier today, so believed the was legit. I then said I wasn't on Vodafone and he said he would send me a text message from Vodafone... I then asked him what my name was and he said for data protection he cannot disclose that but once he sends yhe text and email confirmation for my peace of mind he can go through security with me. I said I wasnt comfortable and said id call customer services and hung up. He called me straight back and asked if I'd received the text and email, I said no yhrn he said have a nice day and hung up. Really scary as seemed more genuine than any other scam calls I've had in the past. If I have received email/text from Vodafone I would probably have discussed my personal details with him and I'm not usually easy to trick! Really concerning for more vulnerable people.

Said he was from Vodaphone, and wanted to talk about my SIM. Told him I wasn't with vodaphone, and hung up on him.

Said he was from Vodafone and wanted to discuss my contract. I said I didn’t have a Vodafone contract then said he was Sky. Then got frustrated with me when I said I have nothing to do with my phone contract. Then hung up

Update my SIM card due to on going work in the area and I would get a 40% discount off my bill. I contacted Vodafone who said they would never ask for details across the phone and to block the number.

Claimed to be from Vodafone phone multiple times, started saying he was updating my sim then wanted a security code he sent for a discount on my bill, when I wouldn’t give it him he was threatening to cut me off, I hung up and was phoned many times after which I rejected
