trying to gain info about our loft insulation, very persistent, told her not to call again.

Female asked persistent questions about loft insulation. We do not have a loft so asked very personal questions regarding age, marital status, did I live alone etc. I answered with wrong info. Rang back using different no when I put the phone down.
Definitely a scam of some sort.

Debbie from the local energy provider for my postcode area who, when I asked her didn't know my postcode. She asked if I was the home owner at the postcode so I asked her again what the postcode was and she changed tack saying she was checking to confirm the had the correct postcode - of course she was!

Female voice said the call was an assessment to see whether more insulation was needed. Asked lots of questions about property type and age and my age. Didn't respond when I made a joke about one of the questions being strangely phrased. Stated they were handing over to a specialist advisor and a man with a strong indian accent came on, trying to get my address in order to make a home visit and find out when I would (and wouldn't ) be in. Hung up. Female voice was clearly prerecorded or AI. SCAM!

Pre loaded conversation. Purporting to be Gabby from my Energy Provider......... When asked which energy provider and who they wanted to speak to. Call then returned to original script. Had any details been provided then almost certainly a human voice would have intercepted the call and taken over. Clearly a scam......... Did not know the name of the person they were calling and didn't confirm which energy provider they were pretending to be calling from. An elderly or confused person could easily be duped into having a conversation with them. Beware
