Supposedly a bank security call, automated, then hold to speak to an advisor. Did so , sounded like an Indian call centre in the background. She put the phone down pretty quickly when I told her what I thought of her thieving scam. Our banks do not have our landline. Also when I got the phone number via 1471 it came up as a local number so they are probably spoofing the number. Don’t be fooled, this is the old unauthorised Amazon payment scam. We are TPS registered & unlisted. If you get this bunch of scammers on the line, report it immediately.
