Called this afternoon claiming to be from Microsoft. Asked if I was the main user but wouldn’t tell me what he wanted. Just kept saying I want to talk to you about computers. So I hung up.

Called this morning to claiming to be from Microsoft and that my IP address had been hacked and that foreign criminals were using it for *insert whatever mumbo jumbo you like here*. Told him I had a Mac and he then told me that Windows and Macs were the same!! Laughed at him and he hung up.

Had a call from a man calling himself Richard Smith but he had a strong foreign accent. Said he was phoning from Microsoft. I said I wasn't interested and there was nothing wrong with my computer and hung up. He then tried again 5 times. He didn't leave a message when my phone went on to voicemail. Worryingly he knew my name although I didn't acknowledge that. The number relates back to a company called Gamma Telecom Holdings Ltd from Caterham, Surrey.
