A polite enough male caller trying to sell doors and windows in my area at 50% off. When asked where he was ringing from he said SW London but wouldn’t commit to an exact area but said his manager would get back to me with all the details later. When asked if he knew which area I was in for this special offer there was a brief silence but it was long enough for me to tell him that his manager wouldn’t be ringing me back and that I thought he was a scammer. His number is now blocked.

Calling ‘From the repair team’ - I responded with ‘oh so is this about repairs my landlord should be doing’? (I don’t have a landlord) and they hung up immediately
