Tried to discuss car finance but I don’t have any. I rang off. Then I received a call from Northern Ireland who said my number had just called him and used abusive language.

Challenged my rejection and asked me why l would turn down thousands of pounds.

Knew my name and said they were calling about a refund, then went on to talk about car finance from 2000 something - hung up at this point.

Had my name and address which he said he got from a publicly available database. Since I'm not on the open electoral roll, I challenged this, at which point he hung up

Guy said something about free repairs and government funding. Sounded dodgy. I just hung up.
