I received a call from someone claiming to be from Marks & Spencer. The caller asked several personal and lifestyle questions including the make of my washing machine, my age bracket, whether I own or rent my home, if I have a dog, and if I have life insurance. They did not appear to be from M&S genuinely and could not explain why they needed this information. I believe they were attempting to gather personal data under false pretences, possibly for marketing or scam purposes.
