Took a long time to connect. Caller said they were Citizens Helpline, asked questions, but felt suspicious. Probably a scam.

Took awhile to connect the call - a sure sign of an auto dialler. The chap was polite and introduced himself as Citizens Helpline.. I asked him three times why hes calling me and he kept repeating asking me if I was ok...i.e. this is an AI voice and can only answer in a scripted manner.

They claimed they were a company called Domestic and general and needed to renew my insurance policy, and asked me for my bank account number so they could release the paper work for my renewal, now this threw me because that is not how the postal service works, and when I tried this issue with them they hung up, yet still they keep calling me.

Acting like my broadband company, offered a better deal but needed bank details first. No way.
