I didn't answer the call so I am not sure. However, I just read in the comments here about a scam car loan, which reminds me that I recently received a scam txt message from another number about car finance, and then received a letter through the post about car finance, both txt and letter saying that I could be owed a compensation. Clearly a scam as I have never had a car. Someone must have sold my details as I don't know how they would have retrieved them. Now, I have read these comments, I will block the number.

There was someone on the other end as I could hear them breathing they didn’t respond when I said hello, So I hung up. I do know people in this area so did think it possible someone I know. But by the look of the other lookups. Could be scam callers. kids messing about possibly.

Refused the call, as I don’t know anyone from Stamford and was clearly a scam. Beware!
