Claiming my sim was due to be replaced as my one was outdated

Told me they were going to block my SIM - confuses them when you ask which one - but it didn't sound like my actual provider who use laptop type phone numbers. I said I was deaf and couldn't hear what they said and could they email it to me. They put the phone down then - obviously they didn't know my email address and couldn't ask for it as if they'd been genuine they'd have known what it was.

Hung up when clear it was a scam. Rang back 5 times. I answered the 6th and asked them to stop ringing. They swore at me down the phone.

constantly calling, I don`t answer as I don`t recognize the number, never leaves a message, so can`t be important

Said my phone contract was ending and that I must act now to avoid higher charges. They avoided direct questions and sounded scripted. Not legitimate.
