Had a call from a person with what appeared to be an Asian accent stating that he was calling from Sky. I suggested that

Scam call claiming my TV insurance needed renewed. I haven't owned a TV in about 15 years.

Insisted we had television breakdown insurance - we don't. Repeated calls from this number over a few days. Would not accept that we were right, would not say where they got the number from. And we are also registered with TPS. We did tell them that.

Claiming to be sky assured. Asking for bank details for ‘continuing’ insurance for sky equipment and devices. £99 for one year £160 for two years. Had some of account numbers but not all as not allowed to keep all under data protection legislation. Asked for number to call them back and gave 02045771016 which also has negative reviews.

Asian gentleman called Steve, said he was from sky, apparently the insurance had lapsed, and he could get me a better price, I couldn’t be bothered to continue the conversation, although would have been interesting to find out what insurance he was talking about, I just put the phone down.

Claimed to be from our energy supplier, but we don't use that supplier. wanted a meter reading, said it was very important, must give the information. I kept saying no. They hung up.
