I had 3 calls from this number I did not answer first 2 calls but I answered as I thought it might be important . It was about car finance I immediately put down phone SCAM!!

just got a call which i didn't answer as number not recognised. appreciate all the comments on here highlighting this call as a scam. number blocked.

Said they were calling to give me a reference number for my mis-sold car finance and a solicitor would call the next day to tell me how much I was owed. When I quoted the reference number the solicitor would explain what I had to do to get the money! This was definitely a scam as I’ve never had car finance. I’m assuming they’ll be trying to get bank details or personal details? I’ve blocked number
