Called saying that they are from our energy provider and there is issues with our reading; mixed up with others in the area; wanted me to confirm details over the phone. I repeatedly told them that they were to send us a secure message on the account as we have done previously with issues with meter readings. Refused to do so, called back 22 times in total. In the end I shouted to stop calling as I would be verifying nothing over the phone. Do not engage block the number. SCAM.

Bogus call saying they were the electricity supplier. Asked all sorts of questions about our meter, account number, address etc. I asked them to tell me what info they had.. and they already had certain info on our account! They said that our meter had overlapped with 5 other meters in the area so needed the details to make sure we had the correct bill! I looked up their number while I was talking to her and instantly hung up when I saw this page.

Please do not engage with this phone call, it is a scam and they use your details to arrange fraudulent contracts and if they don't go ahead, they try and charge you a cancellation fee. BEWARE

Kept ringin back even after i said to message secure on the account and wouldnt share bits over the phone.

Posed as the power company crew with bogus readin info on the meter almost pulled it off but the slip ups showed through.

Reached out to the office sayin they had wrong usage numbers for the setup but wouldnt send the info over email at all.

Keep trying to get hold of me to confirm details of my businesses utility bills. They cannot tell me who they are calling from or why they need these details. Sound super dodgy.

she said she was British Gas but unable to tell me any details, googled the number while on the phone and .. shock its a scam. She put the phone down when I spoke of my findings lol.

Said they were from British Gas, but couldn't provide us with the correct information from our Bills. They keep ringing and asking for us info. Definitely dodgy !

E.On Next apparently - wanted information. I told them for them to tell me it and I would confirm. Couldn't do so, so I ended the call.
