Probably data harvesters. Asked me questions about appliances and insurance. Gathering info on which goods and services you have to make your phone number more sellable.

Asked a lot of questions about my TV and other applicances and if I had life insurance. Also said something about a pets' charity. Sounds as though they were asking a series of questions before asking me to reveal something they could use. Time wasters at best, at worst very dodgy.

Keep getting calls from similar numbers, including mobiles. It’s worrying because they look local so many people might answer thinking it’s real. Feels like a scam network using multiple lines.

Said there was an attempt on my bank account when I asked which one they ended the call then tried again claiming Barclays passed on info but it was all wrong

At first, I didn't answer. I just visited Google like any normal person. Found out it was a scam caller. In which case I was gonna call them back to mess with them, only for the number THEY called me from, not even being active. GREAT!
Fun spoiled.

Didn’t answer but found out later it’s been reported for scams. Better off avoiding this number altogether.

cold call from this number - when I indicated I was not the person who they were asking for I was told to F@%& off - charming! Both Dangerous and harassing I would say. Note to Ofcom, close these idiots down!
