Called out of the blue deadly silence no response to me saying hello. Call then disconnected. Number blocked

Same scam. Local energy advisor. Slimy woman or aggressive bloke. They ring every couple of weeks. Must be some kind of auto dial as there is always a delay when I answer. Have just said no thanks and hung up. Next time I will not be polite. They will get both barrels.

I have received calls from this number every month for the last six months or so. I do not have a loft and have tried reasoning with them to get them to stop calling me. I politely ask them not to put the phone down on me, but to allow me to speak to a supervisor to stop the calls. They put the phone down ! I also ask them how they have got my telephone number as I am ex-directory. They put the phone down! I want to remain polite, but in the future I will have to end the call myself.

They called re loft insulation. Asked if I was over 78 or under 78. I hung up as thought suspicious.

They called to discuss loft insulation claiming to be "local energy advisors." I told them I wasn't interested but they kept going. Ended up hanging up.
