Called twice hung up once refused to explain second time scam

Scammer called me on my mobile, purporting to be from 02. Used distraction technique of calling me ma'am after every other word. Sounded like he was calling from an Indian Call Centre, he had already triggered a OTP by attempting to log into my 02 account and asked me for this code. I immediately hung up on him. Out of curiosity, I called the number again, this time I got someone with a Liverpool accent answering the phone, but not announcing that he was from 02. Just "hullo". So it seems that he had been using some kind of voice technology to mimic an Indian accent. Very dangerous. I have reported the matter to 02 via a text which I understand is automatically directed to the Crime Agency.
